Commitment to Pro Bono Work
Alec is dedicated to pro bono work. He has represented an individual in a 2-year federal civil rights case, the San Francisco Posts of the American Legion in a 3-year charitable trust dispute, and numerous retired Veterans seeking combat related special compensation (CRSC).
In 2013, the State Bar of California awarded Alec with the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services "for voluntary provision of legal services to the poor or disadvantaged, improving the law and the legal system and increasing access to justice."
